Une marche aléatoire
Cette figure montre une marche aléatoire de trente pas : chaque pas monte ou descend au hasard, et la trajectoire en zigzag est imprévisible pas à pas. Ses propriétés d'ensemble, elles, se décrivent très précisément. C'est la version discrète du mouvement brownien, au cœur du calcul stochastique.
